PersuAsian safety

Your pace. Your choice.

Real connections begin with choice. Safety starts with clear boundaries, privacy settings and the freedom to stop.

For adults, 18 and over.

PersuAsian is for adults aged at least 18. Date of birth supports eligibility and your displayed age; your full date of birth is not public. Where available, Age Assured and ID Verified are distinct statuses. A photo approval or badge does not establish background checks or guarantee someone’s identity or intentions. Report suspected underage profiles.

An invitation is yours to accept.

A mutual Like or accepted Introduction may open a conversation. An eligible person can send only one unsolicited Introduction to you; ignoring or declining prevents another unsolicited Introduction from that sender. You do not owe anyone a response. A later invitation can happen only through an allowed route you initiate. Use Block if you want to prevent new contact.

Choose where people can find you.

In Me → Visibility & privacy, control Discover, Search and Swipe independently. Hiding from discovery does not automatically remove existing authorised chats. Location discovery uses a selected city and approximate distance estimates, not a verified home address or your phone’s live GPS coordinates. A member’s selected city may be inaccurate. Keep home addresses, workplaces and regular routines off your profile.

Block contact. Report a concern.

Open a profile or conversation safety controls and choose Block or Report. Blocking prevents new contact; reporting asks the safety team to review the concern. The two functions are separate. Existing history may remain read-only where applicable to support reporting. Reports can include content deliberately selected and submitted as relevant evidence, including decrypted evidence from a conversation marked as E2EE. The other participant should not see your confidential report information.

Safety controls, photo review and moderation reduce risks but cannot detect every harmful interaction. You can seek a review of a consequential account restriction via safety@persuasian.co.uk. Our service is not an emergency reporting line.

Conversations, photos and calls

Dating shouldn’t mean surrendering your private conversations. Only communicate through authorised routes, check actual in-app encryption indicators before relying on E2EE and be thoughtful about private media. End-to-end encrypted content may still be disclosed by a participant who deliberately submits selected evidence to safety reviewers. Others can photograph a screen or use external recording equipment.

Never feel obliged to join a voice or video call. You can deny camera or microphone permission. A match, badge or secure-channel status does not guarantee a safe person. Do not send money or financial documents to someone you have only met online.

Take care of your account.

Use a unique password. Keep verification codes, password-reset links and recovery details to yourself. Use Me → Account & privacy for available sign-out, export and deletion controls. Contact support@persuasian.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised. We may ask for proportionate proof you own the account; we will not ask for your password.

When a conversation moves offline.

Choose a public place, arrange your own transport, tell someone you trust where you are going and keep your phone charged. Stop if you feel pressured. Respect every refusal or change of mind. In immediate danger in the UK, call 999; outside the UK, use local emergency services. Read the Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy too.
