Find your way to discover.
Browse in Discover, use Search preferences or explore one profile at a time in Swipe. A Pass moves a profile out of your current Swipe cycle; it isn’t a block.
Let the interest be mutual.
Send an Introduction where that route is available, or Like a profile. An accepted Introduction opens a conversation. So does a mutual Like—you don’t need to match before sending an eligible Introduction.
Keep talking, at your pace.
Continue through Messages. If you connect through more than one route, your chat stays in the same conversation. You can block further contact or report a concern.
A hello, without the follow-up pressure

The recipient chooses.
A sender cannot keep trying after an Introduction is declined or ignored. Ignoring moves the request out of the way, and the recipient can choose to revisit it. A later, explicit choice by the recipient may open a new route to connect.
